Refund Policy

If Cloak is not right for you, you can request a full refund within 14 days of your purchase. If you bought it and it is not working out, email us within 14 days and we will refund you. The one exception is a purchase made by mistake for a different product, explained in section 2.

Cloak is a Mac app that locks, hides and encrypts apps, folders and files on your Mac. It does not block spam calls and it does not run on phones. Cloak is not connected to any other app or service with a similar name.

There is no free trial. Please check that Cloak is the product you want before you buy. We do not give refunds for purchases made by mistake for a different product.

Email us from the address you used to buy Cloak and include your order details:

• Email support@trycloak.app.
• Put "Refund" in the subject line.
• Include your license key or the receipt or order number from your purchase email.

Tell us briefly why. If something went wrong, we would genuinely like to know so we can fix it.

We process approved refunds within a few business days. The refund goes back to your original payment method through our payment processor, Stripe. Depending on your bank, it can take a few additional days to appear on your statement.

Once your refund is issued, your license is cancelled and you agree to stop using Cloak and remove it from your Macs. You can always buy it again later.

After the 14-day window we generally do not offer refunds, but if you hit a genuine problem with the app, reach out anyway. We want you to be happy with your purchase and we will do what is fair.
